The 2018 Congress was hosted by the National Cancer Society of Malaysia and took place from 1-4 October in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
The World Cancer Congress bridges cultures and generations, providing opportunities for more than 3000 leaders, cancer and health experts from 139 countries to build capacities and meaningful connections, exchange knowledge in multidisciplinary areas of cancer control – from prevention and treatment to palliative care and strengthen cancer prevention & care at global, regional and national levels.
The Congress had participation from eminent personalities including Dr. M. R. Rajagopal – Founder and Chairman of Pallium, Dr. Sanjeev Arora – Director of Project ECHO, Dr. Roopa Hariprasad – Scientist ‘D’ (Clinical Oncology) at NICPR and others.
